Civility

Ah, I'm on the road again, travelling for the first time to California. I keep playing Led Zeppelin's "Going to California" in my head as I trade paint with hippies driving down the freeway. It's like Florida, except nobody has accents and you can actually see mountains.

While deep down, I seriously doubt that I would ever be able to embrace the west coast life-style, I do have to admit I get totally stoked everytime I visit a new state and find out that I can actually BUY BEER AT A 7-ELEVEN! Living under opressive blue laws in the American south gives one a keen eye for such things. Unfortunately, the ice machine on this floor is busted, so I have to drink up before it all gets warm. Warm beer, my gatts! I'll start having Iraq flashbacks. (That's warm NA beer to all you IG types out there is blog land).

So anyway, bottoms up to Californinian civility (at least as far as beer goes - yall might want to reconsider the whole global warming thing though)
